Our LSO Diffusers come sealed with a cork. Simply remove the decorative gold piece by twisting it completely off, gently remove the cork by slowly wiggling one side at a time until it's out.  Place decorative piece back on and insert desired number of reed sticks. Enjoy! Should last several months as long as dust doesn't settle on ends of reed sticks.
