Basic Non-Toxic Printmaking II

In this Beginners class, you will discover how to prepare an image for relief printing, learn how to control the carving tools to define your image while maintaining hand comfort. You will experience this simple printmaking process with both a press and printing by hand, also explore some techniques to enhance your prints and create a limited edition of your print. The inspiration that Master Printer, Terri Thoman, provides in this class will introduce you to creative path in printmaking, nurturing your individual talent while opening new avenues of expression. Beginners and intermediate printmakers will each take away something that will enhance your creative process.
