• Introduces creative writing in 3rd class and develops this skill in a graded fashion up to 6th class as recommended by the New Irish Curriculum
• Children begin by finishing sentences, unscrambling mixed up sentences, putting sentences in the correct order and slowly progress in 6th class to creating phrases, sentences and eventually simple stories
• A fun-filled way of approaching creative writing as Gaeilge
• Provides the opportunity for children to work independently as Gaeilge
• Encourages children to write about everyday situations and fantasies
• Places an emphasis on communication and conversation
